The Environment Education Unit will be hosting its first “Careers in the Environmental Field” seminar for all Environment Cadets in fourth form. The seminar will be held at the Multipurpose Cultural Centre on Friday 21 January from 9 am to 12 noon.

The seminar will take the form of two sessions. In the first session cadets will listen to presentations by persons who are working in environmental fields such as architecture, tourism, agriculture, and so on. Cadets will have the opportunity to speak to these professionals one on one in the second session. In this session, they can ask questions and get real insight into the jobs that these individuals are engaged in.

The Division therefore invites all Secondary Schools that are presently registered with the Environment Cadet Programme to be a part of this exciting seminar. An invitation is also extended to Primary School teachers who are a part of the Environment Cadet Programme.

Date: Friday 21 January 2011

Venue: Multipurpose Cultural Centre
